At the picnic table, there were two new people.

Mirabel took a second look and saw that Gallina and

Barry were there! This felt really strange - a big

coincidence. Except with Gallina, there seemed to be too

many of those to be an accident.

Everyone helped themselves to bread, hummus,

olives, and veggies. As they ate and talked, Mirabel and

Twinkle continued their conversation about feelings and

bullies.

hand, the right size and shape. Stones are among the
most ancient things on earth. Their tempo is extremely

slow. I know that you know what tempo is, girls, because

of your music studies. When you are sad or frightened,
