In the morning Claire's dad, Doug, discussed the map
with them. The plan was to sail across the badlands and
prairies for the day. Mirabel's maternal great
grandmother Little was born on a farm in Wapella
Saskatchewan, over one hundred years ago in 1907. Her
name was Harriet Hill Little. She was a nurse, and had
three children: Gramma was one, Aunt Marilyn, who
gave Mirabel a lovely ballet dress, and their brother Jim,
an artist who makes beautiful furniture.
