The other surprise was that Gramma and Grampa

were coming too. They arrived in the waiting room

where the most delicious snacks were set out on trays for

the waiting passengers. Whatever you might wish for,

there it was: beautiful cherries, watermelon, nectarines,

california rolls, veggies and dip, coffee, green tea and

cinnamon buns, something for everybody. Would they

be too full for the plane food?

'They looked up at the departures board: there was

their flight, #4856 on Flying Fox Airlines. Goodness!

Another fox. Just then, the loudspeaker called their

flight, boarding at Gate # 4. They showed their boarding

passes to the cabin attendant, and went in to take their

seats. Mirabel sat with Twinkle, with parents in front and

behind. Gramma and Grampa sat across the aisle.
"Fasten your seat belts," came the announcement, and

then again in French, "Bouclez vos ceintures." Since
everyone has finally learned how to do this, they didn't

need to give instructions.
