are 13 members (Annex S4-0-1-2 Faculty Members Guide). The ratio of the total number of

students to the total number of full-time and full-time equivalent teaching staff in a program is an

important measure of the program's ability to provide students with quality instruction and
support. Figure (S4-0-1-1) shows the average student-to-teaching staff ratio in the Mechanical

engineering department in 2022 - 203 is 20:1; which is less than the desired target benchmark

            13:1 (Annex S4-0-1-3 Report of KPIs 1444H, pp 27).

A balanced student-to-teaching staff ratio is crucial for fostering a conducive learning environment

and ensuring the academic success of students. Maintaining an optimal ratio plays a pivotal role in

various aspects of education. Therefore, the head of Mechanical engineering department

department council No. 8, pp 15).

The distribution of teaching staff across different ranks, such as professors, associate professors

and assistant professors, plays a crucial role in shaping the academic environment and influencing
