Comments on Results:
The self-evaluation of standard No. 4 using the self-rating scale showed that all criteria were rated
3 points out of 4 with 6 applicable criteria. All areas of the standard elements were implemented
through regular evaluation and the evaluation results showed (Substantial Compliance) level.

Faculty members play a vital role in the department. They are responsible for teaching,
researching, and mentoring students. They are the ones who make it possible for students to
reach their full potential and for and for the department to thrive.
In the last academic year 1444 H (2022-2023), the Mechanical program consists of 22 faculty
members; 12 Saudis and 10 Non-Saudi. There are 3 associate professors, 10 assistant professors, 6
lecturers and 3 demonstrators (Annex S4-0-1-1 Names of faculty members and their scientific
specializations in the Mechanical engineering department). Faculty members currently working
