Figure (S4-0-1-1-3): Proportion of teaching staff leaving the program
Qualified faculty members are essential for any educational program. They are the ones who are
responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, conducting research, and mentoring students.
Qualified faculty members have the knowledge, experience, and skills to help students succeed in
their academic and professional pursuits.
Qualified faculty members ensure that faculty members have the knowledge and expertise to
teach their courses effectively. This is important because it means that students will be able to
learn the material more effectively and will be more likely to succeed in their courses. Qualified
faculty members also will contribute to the overall quality of the educational experience. Qualified
faculty members engage in research activities, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in
their field that fosters a culture of inquiry and innovation within the department. Also, investing in
attracting, retaining, and developing qualified faculty members is essential for maintaining high
academic standards, fostering a stimulating learning environment, and ensuring the continued
success of the department.
The program has a number of rules that can be used to evaluate qualified faculty members in
college. These rules can be used to ensure that faculty members have the necessary knowledge
and expertise to teach their courses effectively, and that they are able to provide students with
the support they need to succeed (Annex S4-0-1-5 Regulation for appointing faculty members).
