Gametangia are the sexual reproductive structures of the

               phylum Zygomycota.

We observe the club-shaped fruiting body called the

basidiocarp, which is the structure created during sexual

               reproduction.

                   • Introduction to Animals

Vertebrates have endoskeletons and backbones. Mamals

have both, but not all vertebrates are mammals

Echinoderms have endoskeletons, but not backbones.

               Most invertebrates have neither.

External fertilization occurs outside of the body of the

female. For this to happen, the sperm must locate the egg,

and it can only accomplish this through swimming in water.

The gastrula is formed from the blastula by the movement

of cells into the interior of the embryo.
