Information Technology (IT)


               OCONUS Office IT equipment or software on which the IT Department will advise may include:

               •  Infrastructure requirements, including:
                   o  Internet Access bandwidth requirements
                   o  Network equipment (switches, Routers)
                   o  Internet Security Equipment (Firewall)
               •  Workstation requirements, including:
                   o  Laptops – types and users
                   o  Docking stations
               •  Application requirements, including:
                   o  Field Office E-mail Accounts (Use New E-Mail Account Request Form in Vysnova Standard Docs
                       folder, see Annex E)
                   o  Specialized applications exclusive for the Project


               Requesting New User Software Access & Equipment
               All new employees must sign an Agreement to Return and Care for Company Equipment prior to
               receiving Vysnova equipment. For new employees, software access and equipment is requested during
               the on-boarding process by Vysnova HR using the New Hire On-Boarding Checklist and Hardware and
               Software Sourcing Form. Vysnova HR (or designee) will submit a ticket to ITRequests@vysnova.com,
               copying the IT Liaison and the PM, indicating the requirements specific to the new employee’s
               position. This request includes the employee’s position, start date, work location, and supervisor. This
               request will trigger Vysnova standard equipment and software access, depending on the employee
               type (see Figure 3 above for software standards). The average time from acceptance of offer to start
               date is ten (10) business days.
               The initial request for equipment, software, and peripherals should be sent to Vysnova IT Department
               no-later-than (NLT) seven (7) business days prior to the employee’s start date. IT is cognizant that some
               requests may be made at the last minute due to extenuating circumstances which normally results in a
               priority  request.  Priority  requests  require  Vysnova  Executive  Management  approval  and  will  be
               processed accordingly. Every effort will be made to accommodate such a request keeping in mind that it
               is subject to approvals, availability of hardware/software, shipping delays, etc.

               Requesting New Access/Equipment for Existing Users
               While HR is responsible for requesting equipment/access for new employees, the PM is responsible for
               requesting changes in IT needs for existing Users (whether the User is new to the specific position or a
               new need was simply identified). The PM should use the Hardware and Software Sourcing Form located
               in the Vysnova Standard Docs folder to request new access or equipment. Any standard equipment /
               software request only needs IT Liaison signature first and then can be sent to itrequests@vysnova.com,
               copying the IT Liaison, for processing. Any deviation from Vysnova standards should be accompanied by
               a PR signed by Senior Leadership.
               Software of any type installed on a Vysnova computer must be licensed and legal.  The use of unlicensed,
               illegal software on a Vysnova computer or equivalent accessory is strictly prohibited and is grounds for
               dismissal.
