ACROSS THE ROYAL WATERFALL TO WATTAMOLLA.

This walk will have us negotiating seven different tracks on a variety of plant communities including
heaths, swamps, woodlands and rainforests. Highlights include pristine rainforest walking, particularly
along the rivers and lush gullies. Spectacular rock formations including Eagle Rock an iconic feature of
the park and several waterfalls plunging over magnificent sandstone cliffs.
18km, grade 3, Asc/Desc 380m, Map; Appin/Otford.
From Waterfall Station at rear of the carpark, head south east and follow the Uloola Track. After about
a kilometre, just past the Firefighters memorial, turn right and follow the Couranga Track. Take note
of the regeneration after the recent fires. Continue to descend and cross the Hacking River. Ascend a
short distance to the Forest Path circuit track. Turn right and follow to Lady Carrington Drive. Now
turn left (north) along Lady Carrington Drive. In about 400mtrs you will find the Walumarra Track on
the right. Follow this spectacular track crossing two creeks along lush rainforest. After a sharp left turn
head uphill past spectacular rock formations and overhangs. The track eventually ends at the main
road, Sir Bertram Stevens Drive. Now turn right (south) and follow the road for about a kilometre to
the Curra Moors Track.
Descend and at the first junction turn right. Continue to the Coast Track. Proceed north along the
popular track visiting Curracurrong and eagle rock, and Curracurrang. Remain on the Coast Track
stopping along the way to view the spectacular coastal sights. Continue and end the walk at
Wattamolla.
