                 The article discusses the development of distance learning, analyzes the possibilities of implement-
        ing distance learning via the Internet, and highlights its advantages.
                 Currently, there are four main forms of education in the system of higher education of the Republic
        of Kazakhstan: full-time, evening, part-time and distance learning. Distance education is implemented using
        three technologies (or their combination). In the first case, we are talking about the creation of certain cases,
