At this stage of their 50-state quest, Harley still had 13 states yet to
travel. A few had mountains to explore. After their Alaskan trip, they
concluded that mountains can be just as thrilling as coastal beaches.
Off to the beaches, the threesome with their friends the Elledges,
traveled during their next summer trip to St. Thomas. They swam
again at familiar, warm beaches in beautiful, blue-green Caribbean
water. Harley had a momentous photo op kissing a sea lion at Coral
World. They also visited an underwater observatory and watched the
feeding of fish.
