at events and radiothons. In 2007, he spoke at a Relay For Life event
put on by the American Cancer Society to raise funds for cancer
research and to honor his friend, Garrett, who had recently passed
away from Rhabdomyosarcoma, a disease where malignant cancer
cells form in muscle tissue.

This was his speech:
“I was diagnosed with brain cancer almost four years ago. I have a
tumor growing from my optic nerve that has made me blind. It's really
great to know that there are so many people here today to raise money
for cancer research. I'm here for several reasons.”
“One, Brandy invited me here and I want to thank her for that.”
