proportion to the actions of the recovering being. The rate of
recovery is always incremental. At what stage the correct path
is regained will depend on the spiritual awareness being
gained and the rate at which the ego is relegated to its correct
position. You will see by this last statement that it is
important the ego is retained but in a balanced state. On the
principle that there is no going back, you are getting older by
the day not younger, the recovery will set a course to intersect
with your path where appropriate. This will not be at the point
at which you left it but at a point where all the positive aspects
of your prodigious journey are assimilated into your
awareness. In God time there is never any waste.”
