WHEN IT BECAmE UNETHICAl TO GO TO WORk

following the CDC recommendations on how to
keep our employees safe and our customers safe.
We want our employees back to full time and we
really want their old attitude and outlook back.
We also don’t want to spend all of our savings on
a hope and a prayer that the Federal Government
may or may not give us reimbursement for paying
                 our employees to do nothing.

                 Jamie Fagel, Jameson Fine Cabinetry

After thirty-five years in the cabinet industry
and two recessions—the first being in 1992 in
Canada, which led me to the United States,

and the second recession being in 2007- 2008
in the US—I started my own cabinet company.
How hard could it be right? Family owned and
operated—a business with little money. But I
didn’t have to travel anymore and I could finally
be at home with my family.
The business was started in the front room
of our house. Then we expanded and moved to
the basement of my son’s house. We all continued

to work endless hours and did anything and
everything to keep things moving and customers
                 happy. We expanded again into our current place;
