past, every August I would say to my bookkeeper,
“I cannot believe I was able to keep everything
going the entire summer.” And at the exact time
the bank account was running on empty, it was
time for the fall football season to start, and we
were back up and running.
I’m a believer and I know God will take care
of me. I have a roof over my head and food on my

table, but I know that I had ten employees that
I’ve always taken responsibility for some of whom
live paycheck to paycheck and don’t know where
their next meal is going to come from or how
they are going to pay their bills. As for me, I stay
prayerful that this will end soon and everything
will go back to normal and that somehow, I will

be able to pay the bills. I do know one thing: I will
NEVER take for granted the simple things in life,
and I will NEVER complain about having to go to
work ever again.
