F. One subject in a composition
A good composition is about only one subject or idea. Every sentence is about the same
subject. Look at the example. The underlined sentence is not a good sentence for this
paragraph because it is about a different subject. It does not belong in this composition.
Example:
I am always very busy during the week. I get up at 7:00 and leave for the university at
7:45. My university is beautiful and has modern buildings. I have classes or study until 4:00
and then I go home. I relax for a while, have dinner, and study some more. Then I watch
television and go to bed. I am usually tired after a busy day.
