P. 14
We all get 24 hours in a day. What do we really spend the time doing? What we do with our time
makes a difference and may can change the lives of many.
• Spend time in The Word.
• Spend time in Prayer. And you wont be a Stranger on Sunday
• Spend time choosing the song list.
• Practice and memorize songs being sung for Saturday
• Be prepared by knowing your parts before Saturday
• When choosing songs to create a song list make certain lyrics are biblically correct. Never
misrepresent who you represent
• Leave room for God to impress upon you to create your own songs
• Continue to learn new songs “Team: A group of people coming together to accomplish a
common goal”.
What is our goal as Fellowship Tabernacle’s Praise Team? Our goal is to be a channel or Conduit
between the presence of God and the congregation (our fellow worshippers in Christ). This
privilege will not always be easy, and we are challenged to go beyond ourselves and trust in the
only one who can help us—GOD! We must constantly persist through our emotions and plans,
so that the Kingdom’s agenda is always a priority.
The book of Revelation gives us a view of worship in heaven. Perhaps this is our best example of

who lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne
and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all
things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” — Revelation 4:9-11 (NIV)
What is Praise and Worship?
Praise and worship are often relegated to a time during a church’s service where one sings to the
glory of God. To truly understand the true meaning of Praise and Worship, we must understand
the two words separately and as their own entities. True worship, in other words, is defined by
the priority we place on who God is in our lives and where God is on our list of priorities. True
worship is a matter of the heart expressed through a lifestyle of holiness. When we use the word
worship, we must make a broad stroke with our definition. Put simply, worship is anything you
do that declares the worth of the Lord, which deepens your relationship with Jesus, and urges
