        Four for FORE!

On May 9, 2019, MIL sponsored a team of four in the inaugural
St. John’s Catholic School Golf Tournament. The tournament
was held at Breton Bay Golf & Country Club. The MIL team was
made up of RDT&E employees Jeff Shaeffer, Tyler Clark, Spencer
        Weir, and Vincen Brown.
By participating in the tournament, MIL helped provide tuition
assistance for some of the students in the area. Jeff Shaeffer, team
lead, says “The golf tournament was an amazing team building
experience! Although, we did not get the win this year, we had
a great time. We are very appreciative to work for such a great
company.” As a group, they spoke to many people about what
MIL has to offer in the community as well as the workforce. “I
felt we were bragging about our jobs and facility (Suite 301) when
people would ask us about MIL. Our sweet orange MIL shirts
were a hit and set us apart from everyone else. Many of the other
competitors gave us compliments on how we were dressed for the
event. We were even dubbed the "Orange Cobras" by event staff,"
said team lead, Vincen Brown. This was a great opportunity for
MIL to give back to our community and to show that MIL prides
itself on our positive work environment.
