Choose someone with characters you are looking for
Avoid being so demanding when selecting a spousal partner. Always understand
that nobody is perfect and no one is 100% correct, we all have limitations. Having
so many demands can lead to having the wrong marriage person. Choices made for
selecting spousal partner should be based upon universal traits and characters such
as selecting someone who cares, who has love, has integrity, empathy, reliable,
kind, emotional generous and at the end you will eventual end up building a strong
marriage foundation.
MARRIAGE AS PART OF ISLAMIC SHARIAH
Marriage is discussed in various chapters in the Holy Quran and is recommended as
part of the Islamic practice. Main aspects of marriage as discussed in the Holy
Quran:
Permanent legal Bond
When we get into marriage, we usually enter into a contract or agreement by two
possible ways, (I) either verbally or by a (II) written agreement. All of the two
procedures symbolize the proof of marriage as part of Islamic Shariah, marriage is
also a sign of chastity and permanence. Muslims take oaths during wedding session
which reveals the act of commitment here on earth and hereafter.
Emotional and Sexual Gratification
There is a sense of gratification and emotional uplift between the two couples when
they get married. It is the only possible way that allows sexual intercourse between
a Muslim man and woman. Marriage is also an act of Ibadah where the two couples
