FIGURE OF A BODHISATTVA
17th/18th century
Carved wearing an elaborate tiara, hair knotted to
the shoulders, and extensive draped robes falling
open over the chest and knotted with a belt above
the waist, the left hand in a beneficent mudra, the
right down-turned on the raised right knee, velvet-
covered wood stand. 74cm (29in) high. (2).
