TWO SANDWICHED PINK AND WHITE SWIRLED GLASS SNUFF
BOTTLES
1780-1850
The first of flattened globular form, with a tubular neck and concave
foot, fashioned with broad pink swirls sandwiched between translucent
white layers; the second of flattened, rounded form, made with
pink and black streaks sandwiched between translucent white
layers, carved on the exterior with a lotus leaf cupping three rows of
overlapping petals, all supported on an oval foot ring.

A PINK OVERLAY LIGHT BLUE GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1850
Of flattened globular form, the pink layer carved to form a goldfish,
carp, crab and three-legged toad, all amid scattered bubbles, one
bubble on each side incised with the character ri (sun), the base
encircled with a band of waves above the oval foot ring.
