A STUNNING AND RARE FAMILLE ROSE EXPORT SAUCER
China, Yongzheng (1723-1735)
Majestically painted on egg-shell porcelain in famille rose tones;
decorated with a rooster on a rock, surrounded by peonies and leaves;
featuring two, painted, iron-red marks with the writing BaiYunShaRen;
enclosed in a beautiful, gilded band inside a band made of green
rhombuses on the border. A small headline on the border.
The two red seals above the rooster are the peculiarity of this saucer - it is not very
common to find a Chinese, porcelain antiquity with signature (except for Qianjiang
objects of the Qing dynasty and the Fencai objects manufactured during the Republic
of China period).This BaiYun Sha Ren seal is presumably the nickname of the
manufacturer. See an identical object, without saucer in Santos London, stock
