A GILT-SPLASHED BRONZE TRIPOD VESSEL, JUE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
清十八/十九世紀 灑金銅爵
The body is decorated with a band of taotie masks on a leiwen scroll.
The handle emerges from a dragon head attachment and the pair of posts at
the rim is decorated with a foral fnial. There is an apocryphal Qianlong mark
to the underside.

A PARCEL-GILT BRONZE EWER AND COVER
17TH CENTURY
清十七世紀 局部鎏金銅開光花鳥紋蓋壺
The lobed body is fnely decorated with gilt cartouches of prunus, peonies and
butterfies, the s-shaped spout and curved handle are modelled as gnarled
branches, the domed cover and handle surmounted with further blossoming
branches.
