AN EMBELLISHED GILT-METAL ‘ABSTINENCE’ PLAQUE
19TH CENTURY
清十九世紀 嵌寶齋戒牌
The plaque is fnely decorated as two archaistic chilong framing an oval panel,
inscribed on one side with the characters zhaijie (abstinence), repeated in
Manchu on the reverse. The chilong frame and foral decoration are inlaid with
turquoise and coral.

A PALE GREEN JADEITE ‘SANDUO’ PENDANT
20TH CENTURY
二十世紀 翠玉三多紋牌
The pendant is carved low relief with ‘sanduo’, a leafy peach and pomegranate
on one side, a fnger citron on the reverse. The stone is of a pale green tone
with some white inclusions.

A PALE GREEN JADEITE CIRCULAR ‘DRAGON’ PENDANT
19TH CENTURY
清十九世紀 翠玉雲龍趕珠紋圓形珮
The pendant is carved and pierced with a dragon chasing the faming pearl
amidst cloud scrolls and waves. The stone is of a pale green and white tone
with tiny areas of russet inclusions.
