The character Fuku^ as given below, signifying prosperity,
happiness, and so forth, is also found upon Ise faience.
The employment of colours and gold in the inscription
of the marks is very general, but it has no special signi-
ficance, and as the examples already given are sufficient
to furnish an idea of the colours used in the principal
provinces, it is not necessary to increase the number, and
the remainder of the marks in the work will be given in
facsimile as regards size and drawing only.
