SNUFF BOTTLE
Qianlong mark and of the period
Of flattened form, the upper and lower lobes
decorated with large lotus blossoms borne on
scrolling, leafy stems, between ruyi lappets around
the neck and upright lappets and dots around the
base and foot ring, the lip and foot gilded, the foot
bearing the incised four-character mark, the domed
stopper decorated en suite.

BLESSINGS’ SNUFF BOTTLE
19th century
Of flattened circular form, each main side painted
with a lobed medallion enclosing a stylized shou
character, the character surrounded by five bats
on one side and flanked by kuilong on the other,
against a blue ground painted with floral sprays, the
foot bearing a four-character Qianlong mark within a
double-square in blue enamel.
