A CELADON ARROW VASE
Southern Song Dynasty
Potted with a pear-shaped body rising to a wide
columnar neck with a gently-flared rolled rim, flanked
by a pair of opposing tubular handles set between
pairs of bowstring bands, supported on a flared foot
ring with neatly trimmed edge, applied overall with
an transparent green crackled glaze, the edges of
the foot ring unglazed revealing the brown body.

A QINGBAI CUP AND A STAND
Song dynasty
The cup delicately-potted with rounded sides rising
to a notched rim with incised vertical lines dividing
the sides into six lobes, supported on a short
spreading foot, the stand with a stepped, flared tray
with notched edge surrounding the bell-shaped
platform with a raised edge, all supported on a tall,
spreading foot ring with petal-shaped edges and
lemniscate-shaped piercings, covered overall in a
pale blue-tinged transparent glaze.
