A CARVED AGATE ‘CHILONG’ LIBATION CUP AND A MINIATURE
AGATE CENSER AND COVER
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The cup is carved with a handle shaped as a chilong, opposite the spout with PROVENANCE:
an animal head and a loose ring handle below it. The semi-translucent stone is

A PALE CELADON JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
AND AN AMETHYST CARVING
19TH-20TH CENTURY
The snuf bottle is carved in low relief with a fgure
in a rowing boat on a river strewn with lotus while
bamboo and lingzhi grow on the river bank. The stone
is of an even pale celadon tone. The carving is shaped
as a peach branch bearing one large fruit and two
smaller ones. The stone is of a deep purple tone with
areas of translucent stone forming the branches.
