A PALE CELADON-GLAZED INCISED ‘DRAGON’
BOTTLE VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase is incised to the exterior with a sinuous dragon chasing
a faming pearl amongst clouds. The base is painted with an
apocryphal Chenghua mark.

AN IRON-RED AND GILT-DECORATED ‘CARP’ VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase is decorated with a large carp leaping from a band of waves and
lotus fowers, below a gilt moon. The base is painted in underglaze blue with a
lingzhi sprig.
