                                                                        A LARGE FAMILLE VERTE ROULEAU VASE
                                                                        KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

                                                                        The vase is decorated with twelve panels enclosing various scenes of
                                                                        fowers, birds, fgures, and mythical beasts within mountainous landscapes,
                                                                        all reserved on a ground of striding dragons and fowers. The shoulders are
                                                                        enamelled with four Daoist emblems, and the neck with two antique vessels
                                                                        between foral panels.

A BLUE AND WHITE ‘PHOENIX AND PEONY’ VASE, GU
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

The vase is decorated with two phoenix fying amongst leafy branches of
peony. The base is painted with a double circle in underglaze blue.
