The group is carved in the form of two confronting catfsh with their tails neatly The group is carved in the form of a recumbent Buddhist lion beside its young,
coiled and their whiskers and fns fnely rendered in detail. The stone is of an clasping a lotus stem in its mouth. The stone is of a slightly mottled milky
even pale tone with an area of mottled russet inclusion. white tone, with a few tiny russet specks.

A PALE CELADON JADE ‘SPILL’ VASE
19TH CENTURY
The short cylindrical vase is carved in the form of a tree trunk fanked by a rock
formation and is carved in high relief with a dragon crawling over it. The stone
is of an even pale celadon tone.
