19TH CENTURY
The plaque is carved in low relief with a scholar and a boy standing beneath
a pine tree. The reverse is carved with a calligraphic four-line inscription. The
top and one side is carved and pierced with a prunus border. The stone is of an
even pale celadon-whitish hue.
