A MUGHAL-STYLE JADEITE CENSER AND COVER AND A
JADEITE VASE AND COVER
19TH-20TH CENTURY
The censer is supported on four leaf-form feet and carved to the body
with a lotus fower to each side. The stone is of a pale green tone with
some areas of russet inclusion. The vase is carved with two cartouches
containing a grasshopper, quail and millet, the stone is of a pale mottled
green tone with apple green inclusions.

‘CHRYSANTHEMUM’ DISH
19TH CENTURY
The dish has thin, rounded sides carved as a double row of
chrysanthemum petals rising from an open fower-heart. The semi-
translucent stone is of a green tone with darker greenish-black fecks.

A PALE CELADON ‘ARCHAISTIC’ VASE, HU
18TH CENTURY
The vase is carved in low relief on each side of the fattened body with a taotie mask and the
neck is applied with a pair of tubular handles. The stone is of a soft pale celadon tone.
