19TH CENTURY, THE PENTAGONAL TEAPOT
WITH IMPRESSED FAN SHUZHENG ZHI
MARK TO THE BASE
One teapot is of square shape and the other of
pentagonal shape, both have a celadon jade handle
and spout, one cover is surmounted by a celadon
jade fnial. One side of the pentagonal teapot is
decorated with birds at fight, the other side is
inscribed. The square teapot is decorated with a
mountainscape on one side and is inscribed on
the other.

A YIXING ‘CALLIGRAPHIC’ BRUSH POT,
BITONG
REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949)
The octagonal brush pot is incised to four of its
sides with bamboo, lotus, orchid and prunus,
divided by panels incised with a dedication and
dated spring of wuchen year signed by Dai Guobao
and Chen Guangming. With an impressed mark to
the base with the artists’ names.
