BRONZE ARCHAISTIC CENSER, FANGDING
17TH CENTURY

The censer is decorated to each side of the body with a taotie mask
below two confronting mythical beasts on a silver-inlaid leiwen
ground, divided by raised fanges. Each leg is decorated with a
stylised animal mask.
