A GILT-LACQUERED BRONZE FIGURE OF SHAKYAMUNI
15TH-16TH CENTURY
Shakyamuni is shown seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base, with his hands
held in bhumisparsa mudra. He has a serene expression with downcast eyes,
his hair is styled in tight curls and knotted in an ushnisa.

A TWO-HANDLED GILT-SPLASHED BRONZE CENSER
17TH-18TH CENTURY
The censer is cast to each side of the body with a lion-head loop handle and is
applied with faint gilt splashes to the exterior and base. The base is cast with
an apocryphal Xuande mark.
