A TURQUOISE AND SILVER-INLAID BRONZE BELT HOOK AND A BRONZE SWORD
PROBABLY WARRING STATES PERIOD (475-221 BC)
The belt hook has a small dragon-head fnial and it is inlaid in turquoise and silver with geometrical
decoration. The sword is cast with a double edged blade with a median ridge on each side. It has areas of
malachite encrustation.

A BRONZE FIGURE OF A MONK AND A GROUP OF NINE BRONZE WEIGHTS AND
VESSELS
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644) AND LATER
The monk is shown in standing position on a lotus base with his hands clasped in front of his chest and
wearing long robes that are incised at the hems. Traces of gilt lacquer are visible. The group of weights and
vessels include a pair of ram-shaped weights; a weight in the shape of a deer; four various weights in the
shape of a Buddhist lion; and two various small censers.
