THREE BRONZE TRIPOD
CENSERS
17TH-18TH CENTURY
One censer is moulded with taotie
mask panels divided by fanges and
has twin upright handles. The second
censer is of compressed bombé
shape and is moulded with a keyfret
band below the shoulder. The base
is cast with an apocryphal Xuande
mark. The third censer is of bombé
shape and is raised on three animal
mask supports.

It is of compressed bombé form and is cast with
two loop handles with loose rings. The base is cast
with an apocryphal Xuande six-character mark in
high relief within a recessed rectangular panel.
