A BURLWOOD CYLINDRICAL BRUSH
POT AND A HARDWOOD AND BAMBOO
SQUARE-FORM BRUSH POT, BITONG
19TH AND 20TH CENTURY

The burlwood brush pot is of slightly waisted

form. The square-form brush pot is carved to

each side with a rectangular panel inset with nine

small spotted bamboo shoots, framed by a poetic

inscription to each edge.
