TWO BAMBOO BRUSH POTS, BITONG
20TH CENTURY

One brush pot is carved with a large pavilion in

a mountainous landscape with a fsherman in a

boat. The other brush pot is carved with a group

of oficials watching two dancers, surrounded by

rocks and pine.

The group comprises: a huanghuali brush pot carved in low relief with a
                                                                                  清十八世紀及十九世紀 黃花梨筆筒及竹雕筆筒兩件一
scholar and a boy beside a pine tree, incised with a Kangxi guisi cyclical date;  組三件

and two bamboo brush pots carved with scholars and pine in a mountainous

landscape, one with hongmu mounts to the mouth rim and base.
