     A CLOISONNE ENAMEL BOX AND COVER

     WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A RECTANGLE AND OF THE
     PERIOD (1573-1619)

     The cover is decorated on the top with a fruiting and flowering
     pomegranate branch, the sides of the box and cover with
     continuous floral scroll designs. The base is enamelled with ruyi-
     head designs surrounding the reign mark.
