Yongzheng BALUSTER VASE
Finely potted with cylindrical body and high shoulders rising from Signed Yun An with a seal mark reading Zhuju, Yongzheng
a waisted foot, brightly enamelled around the exterior with crane Decorated in black lacquer and gilt with trailing branches of bamboo,
medallions alternating with quatrelobed cartouches enclosing stylised flowering peony and blossoming prunus, the reverse inscribed with
Shou characters, on a trellis-brocade ground joined by coin-shaped poetry. 43cm (17in) high.
roundels and clusters of ruyi-heads surrounding central florets, all
between two thin lines of key-fret and geometric patterns on the £1,500 - 2,000
shoulder and foot, the neck decorated with striding chilong and CNY14,000 - 18,000
scrolling lotus, the rim and foot rim with ruyi-heads bands.
