TEA SERVICE AND AN ASSOCIATED PITCHER
19th century
Comprising a teapot, open sugar bowl, and a cream pitcher, in
addition an associated pitcher, all half fluted urn forms with vertical 647
gadrooning and shell rims, the base with maker’s mark.
6in (15.2cm) height of teapot, total silver weight approximately 81.75oz
(2542gm) troy (4).

TWO CHINESE EXPORT GILT FILIGREE DECORATIONS
The first a gilt silver tea canister in quadrilobe shape, each lobe
decorated with a reserve enameled with birds and flowers against a
filigree ground, the matching cover similarly decorated and topped with
a flower bud finial; the second a lion-form vessel covered entirely with
dense filigree work, the tip of the beast’s tail designed as a hinged lid.
