Blend if Layer Style: Fine Art Collage Using the Blend if Sliders
Another popular use of the Layer Style Blend If sliders is to experiment while creating fine art collages. While you’re doing this, you’ll totally have your
artist vibe on because there’s no telling what you’re going to come up with when you drag these sliders using multiple images—it’s only limited by your
creativity. You see this look a lot in posters, in fine art, and things created just for fun.
Step One:
The first step is picking the images you want to combine into a fine art collage. Here, I chose four images and opened them in Photoshop (in case you’re
wondering how I got them into this 4-up look, it’s actually a Photoshop feature. Just go under the Window menu, under Arrange, and choose 4-Up). We’ll
use the image of the Marine holding the flag (shot during the pre-game ceremony at an Atlanta Falcon’s football game) as the first image in the collage.
