schizophrenic.  At the very least, he sees them as being in doubt and



                unbelief.



                        This is our biggest problem in the church: we simply don’t
                              believe the gospel of God.  We don’t believe God.







                Gentiles vs. Jews





                       There is something else about all of this that is very interesting

                that I mentioned before, but it warrants repeating. Paul says it is ‘safe

                and good’ for us when things are repeated (Phil 3:1).


                       In Romans 2:14 Paul says, “For when the Gentiles, who do NOT

                have the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, they are a

                law unto themselves.” Did you see it?  We Gentiles do NOT have the

                law! This is a fascinating turn of events in our modern culture because

                most Christian Gentiles tend to live by the law.


                       Paul, during the first century church, battled with those who

                preached the Old Covenant law after the cross of Christ.  This

                included contention with the other apostles: Peter, James and John

                (see Galatians 2). But he was careful not to allow the law to influence

                the Gentiles — those who were not born Jews. It is even said they
                divided their approach to ministry: Paul was sent to the Gentiles
