Within the organization, it is very helpful to undertake some exercises that
facilitate the resolution of conflict. For example, an exercise to use if you
have two employees who are having an issue or a group of your staff
members that has problems is to host a mediation by sitting everyone
down. A mediation is a more formal activity that involves getting to the
bottom of conflicts and developing a useful solution that everyone can
agree on to move forward. Have a section during the mediation that allows
for parties to discuss their problems and voice their opinions for a solution.
