extension activities. The course syllabus also contains the Table of
Specification (TOS) and Rubrics that must be followed by the teacher in
evaluating student outputs and giving of points or grades. The teacher is
required to return to the students after checking and recording all laboratory
exercises, test papers, term papers, projects and other outputs within 7
working days.”
Giving of grades
“At the middle of the semester the teacher is required to give the
students their Mid-Term Grade to enable the students to know their class
standing and decide whether to drop the course or continue in time before the
last day of dropping of courses which is after the Mid-Term Examination
period. At the end of the semester the teacher is required to give the students
their Final Grade. The grade of the students must follow the Standard Grading
System prescribed by the University.”
Removal examinations before the final grade
“Removal examination is given at the discretion of the teacher to
students whose class standing may not enable them to get a passing grade
but deserve a chance to pass the course. The removal examination is given
after the final examination before the teacher prepares the final grade of the
students.”
