RADICAL LOVE
Hebrews 12:2 (TPT) verifies this:
“We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto
Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward in faith’s
perfection”
The final verse in this section (v7) is where the daughters of
Jerusalem—or the brides-to-be—are warned by the Beloved Shepherd
King not to interfere in any way concerning what is happening to the
Shulamite. This time of separation unto Him, and the further discovery
of who He is, is vital to her preparation for the next season in her
spiritual walk.
We must guard against well-meaning saints who, unwittingly, become
instruments of the enemy by trying to manipulate others into activity
when it is a time of being set aside for the Lord. These seasons of
apparent “inactivity” can actually be the most important periods in our
Christian walk. There are times when the Holy Spirit reveals to us the
state of our hearts, brings healing and deliverance from hurts and pain,
reveals the deeper mysteries of God, and teaches and equips us for the
next stage of walking with Jesus.
The verses we have just covered conclude the first part of this book,
which mainly concerns itself with the Shulamite being awakened to
love by the Holy Spirit. Watchman Nee calls this section "Initial Love,"
but I also feel it should be called "Parental Love" because, as we read,
we discover that at this present time, the Shulamite is caught up with
