SESSION 8 : Song of Songs Chapter 3:6-11 (TPT)
POINTS FOR DISCUSSION AND REFLECTION
❖ The Shulamite is hungry and thirsty for the Lord Himself, as
was King David. King Saul and King Jeroboam had different
hearts. What did they hunger and thirst for? (See 1 Samuel
15:17-25 and 1 Kings 12:20-33).
❖ The words at the end of chapter 3:6 say that the fragrance of
Christ is more fragrant than all the spices of the merchant. Take
some moments to meditate on these words. What steps do we
need to take for this truth to be a reality in our lives?
❖ Ask the Holy Spirit if there is anything in your life that is
hindering the
❖ His strength, help, and guidance to help you get rid of all
obstacles. Choose to be open and transparent in this process,
knowing that you are loved and cherished. No fear!
PRAYER
Father,
It is Your desire that we should love Jesus Christ, Your Son, with all
our hearts, all our souls, with all our minds, and with all our strength.
And yet, we know that without the help and power of the Holy Spirit,
this is not possible for us.
