RADICAL LOVE

revelation of what it truly means to be co-heirs with Christ. Watchman

Nee says this in his commentary:

“Such ones as are represented by this bride begin even now to exhibit

and express the future beauty and comeliness of life within the heavenly
          sanctuary.”

Something else struck me as I read the whole tribute of the Bridegroom-

King’s praise of her. We had just witnessed a very similar scenario in
the preceding chapter, but instead of the Bridegroom extolling the

virtues of the Bride, on this occasion it was the other way around—she
          was glorifying and magnifying Him.

If we consider that we become what we focus our main attention on—
and in Chapter 5, it was the Shulamite focusing on the Bridegroom—

then we can see the positive results this has brought to her spiritual life.

I believe that the time spent meditating on the Bridegroom has been
instrumental in her becoming more like Him. What He saw and

complimented in her was the beautiful and lovely expression of

Himself being modelled in her life.

Therefore, the lesson here is that the degree to which we focus our lives

on Jesus and His example will be the measure by which we represent
Him to the people around us.

Before moving on, let us examine the last line of verse 4, which makes
for interesting reading. In The Passion Translation (TPT), it says of

          her:
